manitobamuseumThis amazing Museum is one of the best reasons to come to Winnipeg at some point in your trip if you can.  It kind of reminds me of the Natural Science Museum in Houston, Tx.  It gives you a great picture of what kind of evolution has occurred in that part of Canada.  You can also see other parts of the world here.  Its a pretty cool place.  If you check out their website you can get the current exhibits that are going on.  If you get a membership, you can get into everything for free pretty much.  That way, if you are planning on going more than once, it pretty much pays for itself.  Here is some of their information in case you want to know more.  If you end up contacting them, I would try first by email, then by telephone because they tend to get pretty busy during the summer.
