The Northern Lights Centre was built back in 1996 is used to show people and educate them on the Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights). You can see state of the art panoramic video with surround sound if you visit and see the Northern Lights any time of the day. You can also see their space exhibits because of all of their advanced technology. Check out their website or our FAQ page about What are the Northern Lights? If you want the real deal though, I suggest you visit it in person. Their SciDome is probably the coolest thing since butter. It’s a lot like the astronomy centers you might find around the United States but this one is special in that its in direct view of the Northern Lights.
Daily 2-part presentations. Each ticket purchased at the Northern Lights Centre gives you admission to both Yukon’s Northern Lights and a space related show on their new SciDome HD system.
